April Fools!: Photo Trickery for Your Friday Fool’s Fun

Happy April Fools’ Day! May your day be filled with crazy fun pranks and tricks (I know mine will be)! As a special treat, I’ve posted a few pieces below that can initially appear to play tricks on your eyes. The technique is called an applied image in which two photos are overlaid and merged using various effects like screen and multiply. You think you’re seeing one thing, but you’re really seeing something more. Cool, huh?

Cinco de Philosophy

Susan in Wonderland

All the World’s a [Star’s] Stage

The Peace Pact

The Gypsy’s Performance

So have a great April Fools’ Day and remember, Karma sucks, so watch out! 🙂
