Taylor’s Spring Shoot

Happy Aloha Friday to you! It’s officially spring break; not that it matters because I have rehearsal everyday during the break. Still, it will be nice not to have class for a week. Then it will be back to the grind to finish out the semester. But that’s not what I came here for. I came here to share some lovely images from yesterday’s photo session with my friend Taylor: More

Hell’s Angels (Part 1)

Happy hump day/Thanksgiving Eve! I hope this post finds you well. For anyone on the East coast, I hope you’re staying warm and enjoying the snow. I am green with envy. I miss snow…but anyway. In my free time before I go to my “writing group” to work on my Disney Princess research paper, I thought I’d finally delve into all of the photos I have been meaning to post for months now. So let’s do it: More

Hell’s Angels: Sneak Peek

Oh hi there. I can’t talk long since I am off to take more pictures and have a grand sleepover with my best friend (yes, I am an adult and yes, I do still have sleepovers), but here’s a sneak peek of some pictures from a session that I had with my friends Peytone and Brandy from this past spring: More

Apologies and Redemption

I know, I know. Look who’s finally making a post for the first time in almost two weeks. I’m sorry I’ve left you guys hanging. Between graduating and starting my internship, I have become so busy that I now only have time for one or two blog posts a day/every few days. And most of my attention has been going towards my other blog (Adventures in Aloha) because I have been doing a lot of prepping for my transition to grad school in the spare time I have (and trust me, there’s not much spare time for all of that either). But I certainly haven’t forgotten about my endeavors here, so to make up for my absence as of late, I have a “let’s start again” post for you all: More

Spring Photography Season: Sneaks & Peeks

Morning! I should be asleep, and I’m about to head off to do just that, but before I lay my little head on my pillow, I figured I’d post some images from 6, yes SIX, recent photo sessions (I’m well underway in my photography final portfolio which is why all of these photo shoots are occurring). I’m in the process of editing them all and posting them for the appropriate parties to see, but why not give you guys a little taste of the wonderful things to come on the blog? Take a look below: More

A Graduation Affair – Will (Part 1)

22 days, 20 hours. That’s a pretty approximate countdown til my college graduation (I would give you minutes and seconds, but that might seem a little too desperate). So now that I am almost 3 weeks out from the one day that I never thought would actually come, everyone is asking me to take their senior pictures for their graduation invitations. Believe it or not, for a school that is meant for students of low-income families, they still try to charge us an arm and leg for grad announcements. So students go for plan B: Wal-Mart! And who better to kick off the trend than my friend Will (see how I made that transition work): More

Reaching the Pinnacle: Preview

Two posts in one day? I’m on a roll! Just kidding. But I do have a bit of a preview for you. Going to school in Kentucky has certainly been an interesting aspect of my life for the past four years. I’m from a metropolitan area, been in a relatively large city for all my life, and then for college, I made a major switch to a small town filled with “country folk.” This has been a learning experience for both parties (but I’ll get to that momentarily). But despite my overall feelings about the state of Kentucky, I can at least say that the landscape is one of pure beauty. Why am I saying all this? Well, just keep reading below: More
